Our portable units operate on 12/24-volt DC and 110/240-volt AC power sources. With the standard 12-volt DC power cord, our units can run when plugged into a vehicle’s 12-volt power outlet or connected to a solar panel. They will also operate when plugged into any AC wall outlet.
All units include an internal fan to prevent thermal layering and keep a consistent temperature throughout the entire FridgeFreeze. For precise temperature control, a digital thermostat is standard with built-in temperature alarms. Unit is made out of plastic to reduce its weight.

The digital thermostat allows for precise temperature control. It can reach as low as –20°C and as warm as the ambient temperature. It also features a temperature alarm to let you know if you are outside the acceptable preset range.

Factory settings can be changed to a temperature that is warmer than the “Lowest Temperature Available.” The digital medical freezer has a lower ambient temperature operating range at 29°C (85°F) because of the colder temperatures required.

If your normal 120-volt AC power is interrupted due to a power outage, or if you are in a remote location, the UPS Battery Back-Up System ensures that your FridgeFreeze medical refrigerator or freezer will continue to run up to 4 days.
